MG ZS EV

The ZS EV is an internet SUV that is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, marking the brand’s first electric vehicle in the Indian market. There are two versions that are currently available for sale and they go for ₹21 lakhs and ₹24.68 lakhs (ex-showroom). Range comes in at an ARAI certified 419km on a full charge of the 44.5kWh battery that drives the 143hp electric motor.

The ZS EV can accelerate to a maximum speed of 100kmph within 8.5 second. It comes with two charging points: 50 kilowatts DC fast charging and 7.4 kilowatts AC home charging. Tata Tigor EV

The car giant has also unveiled an electric variant of the Tigor, a popular sedan from the Tata Motors. The Tigor EV has a starting price of ₹12.49 lakhs (ex-showroom), which makes it eligible for the maximum FAME II incentive of ₹1.24 lakhs for passenger EVs. This battery can output 26kWh for a rather weak 72hp/170Nm electric motor and offers a range of approximately 306km per charge.

Acceleration from 0-60 kmph: 5.7 secs; The Tigor EV is practical in its approach and does not boast high-performance numbers. The cabin of the car has got features like the Harman sound system, auto climate control, digital instrument cluster and much more.

Mahindra EVerito

Mahindra Electric started the affordable electric vehicle revolution in India with models like the eVerito sedan. Available at ₹10.71 lakhs the eVerito is offered subsidies ranging from ₹ 1.5 lakhs depending on battery type and location. The models come with 21.2kWh and 24.9kWh batteries and have an officially stated range efficiency of 110km and 140km respectively.

The eVerito is an electric car which is powered by 41hp electric motor With 0-60kmph in 13.5 seconds. Yet, the eVerito has simple cabins which consist of some essential features such as touch screen audio, height adjustable driver seat, anti-lock braking system, dual front airbags, etc.
